"This is exactly the type of place I was looking for. Tucked away in a quiet wood and with a river running nearby as a bonus. "The property was dirty when we arrived. There was dog hair everywhere. The trash can outside was filled with the previous guests trash and it was full. The sheets were not washed. They had red blotches on the pillow cases. We removed the sheets and replaced them with sheets from the linen closet. The hot tub was filthy. "The staff were so very nice and helpful. Can’t say that enough! The hotel itself is getting a little run down, windows weathered (Oceanside view) beds squeaky and little lumpy, but not terrible. The parking is tough for large pickup trucks not to be in the way, but spots are close to room. In-room coffee is not very good and they skimp on the coffee creamer. The place was very clean, quiet and safe. We would stay again, on the off season as cost during summer is pretty high for what you get. Will say again staff was wonderful! "
