“My husband and I stayed here over the long weekend, and we had a great experience. The motel is only a 5‑minute drive to the main beach area at Goderich, which was very convenient. We booked online, and everything went smoothly.
For a small town motel, they truly have everything you need — from shampoo and lotion to a pool, which I especially loved. The room was clean, comfortable, and well‑equipped.
I would definitely recommend this place. The lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful,……
“I would strongly recommend staying away from this hotel. It is extremely old, poorly maintained, and has a very unpleasant smell throughout.
My first impression was the entrance door handle, which was visibly dirty and smelled bad. The receptionist, lady with white hair was also extremely rude and unwelcoming.
The room furniture was outdated and had a musty smell. The windows could not be opened, so there was no way to let in fresh air. The bathroom fan was extremely old and made a loud noise……
“Room is clean but has a different smell especially when the aircon was turned on. Toiletries is not complete. Parking is tight. Staff is very nice and helpful. Area is walking distance to the square”
“Other amenities inside were ok fridge and microwave. Having access to pool was good. The floor was not very clean in our room, broken flooring pieces. The person at reception didn’t care much when mentioned about this.”
“We had one nights stay and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and had a nice area to sit outside. The brochure indicated a river view but we couldn’t see this because of the summer foliage. The continental breakfast was very nice. We did however feel the price was high compared to other Inns we have stayed in (King bed).”

The bathtubs are deadly. Slippery as nothing as that in my life. No wonder there's a grip bar on there.
Badly in need of updates.
The air conditioner sounds like a freight train.
Extension cords are everywhere.
Bathtub is in need of grouting.
No bugs inside. Beware of sitting under the trees.
Respect to the lady that runs it..
But we won't be back. The 3rd time there was not a charm.”
