“It is what it is. Nice people, inexpensive, but really didn’t like the strong smell of scented cleaning products in the room, and the room looked clean but honestly get kind of grimy. Room was stuffy even with air conditioning running.”

Instead, there was a sign to call a phone number and the owners in the next house came over to show us to our rooms then left us. We were the only people in the building until we called again for breakfast the next morning when he came over again to make it. There is no pub as the pictures would suggest. “My partner, dog and I loved our stay! Beautiful spot, lovely drive from London, and incredible home. We even chatted about how nice it would be to live here, that’s how comfortable it is.
