"Clean room, great access to Superior and Porcupine mountains! Super comfortable and nice to sit out by lake at night, watching sunset. 2 fire pits, plenty of seating. The continental breakfast was great! Has a restaurant attached, Paul's, our burgers were warm and fries cold. Don't know if thats the norm, seen mixed reviews online about Paul's. Will 100% be back to the Americinn!"

"Extraordinary property. Beautifully designed and maintained. Location perfect for exploring Porcupine Mt State Park. Lovely beach for swimming and rock hounding. (For you geology buffs, we saw examples Omars and Oolitic jasper- glacial erratics from Hudson Bay’s Belcher islands.)We enjoyed both indoor and outdoor fireplaces but would have appreciated brief instructions re: need to ignite pilot lights which we did eventually figure out. Thank you for sharing this amazing home!"

"The cottage was just as described, and even roomier than shown in the photos. It was clean, comfortable and included everything we could possibly need and more. The location was just what we wanted--- quiet, private and perfect for beach walks and sunset viewing. Lori and Rob gave us our privacy but were available if needed. Instructions for household appliances etc, as well as helpful information about the local area was provided.We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area. "
