“After 3 nights in the Porcupine Wilderness the Bobcat Cabin was the perfect place to come back to. It was cozy and had everything we needed. Its simplicity and self-reliance makes it the perfect nature getaway. We were there when it rained and the hosts have made it the perfect spot to curl up with a book or take a midday nap. They were also very accommodating and responsive. We can’t wait to get back and explore more of the nearby trails. (If you stay here, heads up that VRBO links the address……

“We enjoyed our stay at the Oar-asis! The location was ideal for us, with doing activities in the Porkies and in Ontonagon, and we were surprised by how many amenities were available! The hosts thought of everything that is needed for a great stay, plus the complimentary coffee, breads and cookies were delicious! One of the better VRBOs we stayed at with a very nicely stocked kitchen, charcoal for the grill, etc. The hummingbirds at the feeder were a delight to watch, and we even saw a deer……
