Writing I recently stayed at the Rodeway Inn from March 27th–29th, and I had a wonderful experience. The manager, Rakesh Goswami, went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of—his helpfulness truly made a difference in our stay. Our housekeeper was also exceptional, keeping everything clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I travel to Greenwood, SC on a regular basis, and after this experience, I will definitely be staying at the Rodeway Inn each time I return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to stay! I give it a 5 star rating for sure

Where Do I Start? Ugghh...😞

The front desk clerk was very friendly and inviting, unfortunately though that's where most of the positive points end. The room was very hot and stuffy inside, which is to be expected since the A/C was turned off in the room. On top of that, the refrigerator was unplugged and the door open on it so it was a few hours before it cooled to temperature that it should've been. In regards to the cleanliness of the room, I will say that the room did appear to be clean, including the linens and the bathroom. BUT, the room was infested with gnats/fruit flies, as well as roaches. A few more points worth noting is that there wasn't any coffee maker, cups, ice bucket, etc and there was only 1 towel and 1 washcloth. There also was no remote control for the TV. I hate having to list all of these negative points, especially considering how pleasant and friendly the front desk attendant was, but I expect a lot more than what this visit had to offer; especially for $80. Disappointed.

Run from this place. Dirty, stains on sheets, hair on toilet, smelled. We had to leave after just 5 minutes. Promised a refund but they lied. No refund whatsoever.

Dirty floor, broken beer bottle by my car in the morning. Pool is filled in with dirt and there are scrappy weeds in there.

pictures make this establishment appear safe and in decent conditions, however that is the dirtiest room I've ever seen in my life. We booked a non smoking room (because my wife is pregnant) and when you walked in it literally smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes. I don't recommend staying here. We left within the hour of checking in.

If you’re looking for a budget friendly option, it’s passable, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer than a couple of days. The staff were very nice.

Good service or attention on the part of management. Only thing we noted for need to improvement was just a little more attention details for cleanliness which probably was due to need for renovation because old hotel furnishings.
