“The area around the resort was quiet and beautiful. I really enjoyed the view from and ambience of the wide veranda. Seating in the indoor bar area was comfortable. However, continental breakfast seating on hard curved chairs very uncomfortable. The restaurant's German food delicious, but the "waldorf salad" very far from authentic, to put it mildly. The waitress and all-around helper, Buffy, was fantastic! Indoor main room was comfortable and large Games and some books on offer.

“I like quirky older motels. Reeds is a classic 60's joint. It not fancy, but its clean and the beds in room #1 were fantastic. We were hiking all day in the White Mountains and these beds soothed the body. The staff when I spoke to them were polite and friendly. I always stay in Springerville when I'm that way. Small town, easy vibe. If ya want simplicity and quirk, this is the place to be!”
