Weekend at the lake

Great weekend at this lake house. Very clean, very comfortable. Bed felt like my own bed! Beautiful view of the lake, great patio. Teenager kids loved the bunkhouse! Will definitely stay again.

Labor Day Vacation

Had an amazing Labor Day Weekend at this property. The hosts were amazing and helped with answering questions about the area. The location on the lake was perfect, close to amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

Family Fun

Lovely lake view, nice clean house, well maintained. Had a “Bunkhouse” as a second sleeping room with four bunkbeds and tv which the boys loved and so did their parents! We hope to rent it again for our next trip to Grove to visit our extended family in the area.

Great view of the lake. Close to town.

It was a great trip. We will be back. The bed was soft and comfy. We were only 2- this trip but the property will be able to handle two families with kids.

Perfectly Remodeled Home in a Great Location

We were two families with 8 total people and loved this location. The kids had a blast in the guest house. The evenings on the patio overlooking the lake could not have been better! Thanks again for a great time.

Lake View

This was AMAZING, from the home decor and outdoor living space to the views to the covered dock!! We had the best time with friends and family enjoying all the lake had to offer! The property manager was very nice and easy to reach should any problems arise. We will definitely be staying here again!

Best Little Lake House in Town

We enjoyed the Veranda at Happy Hour. We enjoyed the view of the lake in the morning as well as the afternoon. We enjoyed the sunrises greeting us in the morning. We enjoyed our friends coming and staying with us for a couple of days. We enjoyed the close proximity to Grove stores and restaurants. The Lake House was very comfortable. We look forward to staying at the Lake House again.

I’m so happy we decided to stay over. The place was so clean and had everything we needed. The view was just phenomenal. We came in winter time and didn’t get to enjoy the porch or outdoor fire setup. We did use the grill! Can’t wait to come back!

It was great. The sunrise was fantastic. The beds were great. The place was just as stated on the website. The host was easy to contact and very helpful. The view of the lake was spectacular. We will surly go back again.

Great get away

Clean and comfortable. We had a 118 heat index first day and both the house and bunk house stayed cool which was very welcome when we weren’t in the water. We had nine people with age range from 2 to 55. We took our jet ski and left it tied to dock. Kids had a blast swimming and tubing. Hosts were extremely responsive and easy to communicate with.

Bassmaster Classic

Hung out pretty low key. Attended the Classic in Tulsa on Friday and Sunday. Saturday relaxed. Beautiful view of Grand Lake and only a couple minutes from the boat ramp. We even did a warm polar plunge into the 52 degree lake! (From Minnesota, so for March, it was warm water). Beautiful home. Clean. Everything anyone would need. Thinking about visiting next year and bringing my boat!

Amazing place with Amazing Views

This place is incredible. The home is quirky and full of character! It has everything you can imagine you may need. It he entire property is just centered around “relationship” and has ample entertainment space. We enjoyed backyard games, cooked multiple dinners, the grill was amazing, and the view was absolutely breath-taking!! One of the owners brought us the most incredible homemade bread and that just put it over the top. My sister lives on monkey island and was able to dock her boat in the boat slip and come over for dinner and pick us up. While we typically pick a different place to stay every summer on vacation, this has been our favorite so far and we will absolutely be back! Beds were very comfy and the bunk house was amazing for the kiddos!! 5 stars all the way!!

So glad to have found this little jewel overlooking Grand Lake.

Husband was fishing Bassmasters Open on Grand Lake for a week. I needed a safe & comfortable place to stay while he was fishing all day. This home exceeded our expectations in every way. Location was minutes from town, house was super cute and comfortable, relaxing seating on back porch, nice groomed grassy yard, great fire pit, BBQ pit and not to mention the gorgeous lake views and breathtaking sunrise & moon light glistening across the lake. Memories made. On our first night, Jeff, one of the owners brought us a homemade loaf of freshly baked sourdough bread he had made. Absolutely scrumptious! Other two owners, Bruce & Diana live next door and were very friendly and attentive to anything we might need. We feel blessed to have found this house and will definitely book again when in the area. Thanks for your hospitality Jeff, Bruce & Diana. Hope to see y’all again. ALBERT & Diane (Austin TX)

Strugeon Super Moon Weekend

Jeff was a very welcoming and accommodating host who went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed for a phenomenal long weekend. The view was incredible and the outdoor living with so many extras was very comfortable, even in the excessive heat. This was the perfect spot to enjoy the rising of the huge red supermoon over the water at night and the gorgeous sunrise every morning. Great location with plenty of parking and 5 minutes to Harp's grocery, which was very nice. It was great having a private dock, just a short paddle from the boat ramp, for easy access to our kayaks and SUPs. It was also nice just hanging out at the dock in the evening. It is quite a climb back up, but that was expected with a house perched on a cliff. The views were worth it. The large Jenn-Air grill was perfect for our outdoor dining under the refreshing misters. Even though we had 100+ degree weather, it was extremely cool in every room of the house. It was a huge plus being able to see the exceptional view from bed in the master bedroom, from the living room and the multitude of seating areas outdoors. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

What a GEM!

This was the perfect place for my family of 3 in so many ways! The location is absolutely amazing, not only is your view of the lake massive you are 2-5 minutes to Walmart, gas, restaurants, boat marinas, everything we needed was right there. We rented a boat one day and jet skis another day and came back to the house and tied off at the dock that's on the property both days, so that was awesome to be able to make a bathroom stop and grab a sandwich. The beds were very comfortable for a rental, most of the time the beds are terrible so we appreciated the beds were nice. It was a very clean adorable little house, and although only one bathroom we made it work, the other amenities such as the HUGE back porch over-looking the lake, and fantastic Grove location, not to mention the steal of a price for this property we didn't miss the additional bathroom. I almost hate to leave the review for fear it won't be available next time I want to book it! Jeff your host will go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, he's a great guy and was super attentive to any need we had. The only thing I really missed was a swim ladder off the dock, that would have been fun to swim off the dock, so maybe he'll put one in for my next visit :)

A wonderful 4th of July family vacation stay!

It is hard to know where to start in sharing what a terrific time we had staying at Bruce & Diane's Honey Creek Cover house. We booked many months in advance, and the owners were great communicators, answering our questions no matter how trivial. When we arrived we found the home beautifully decorated, clean, cool, and ready for the hot/tired cohort rolling in. The Bunk House (which Adam jokingly called "the shed") was a great place for our teen/20's children, cool and quiet, with a fun ceiling decoration we will let new visitors discover! The house itself was beautiful, with luxurious beds, a comfortable living space, versatile kitchen, current appliances, and the deck overlooking the cove was so alluring, our kids spent time out there, reading and viewing, even on the hottest days. Unexpectedly, we were also treated to an amazing firework display from the neighbors, too! And of course, we made great use of the lake and covered dock. We splashed with the kids and grandbaby every day, and Adam kayaked and fished for bass 2/day at least. Fishing was good, despite the heat, catching several 1-3lb bass all along the Western edge of the cove. Adam even lost an 8-10lb bass that snapped his line! Our 2-year-old granddaughter caught her first fish ever, a lovely little sunfish, right off the dock. We could not have been happier with the water-based fun. You cannot go wrong with this lovely home, which has our highest recommendation! So grateful and thankful!

Cute little lakehouse, perfect for our little family

This lake house has a million dollar view, a spacious outdoor living area, friendly and helpful neighbors, and a gracious host. Our family of four had a great time fishing, floating in the lake and lounging around enjoying the view. Our boys loved playing in the bunkhouse and playing foosball and darts during down time. It's super close to groceries, dining, and there is even putt putt across the main access street. There were only a few drawbacks that might need consideration, there is no door on the 2nd bedroom, so I had a hard time getting my youngest to go to sleep until everyone was done with the bathroom, which is the 2nd drawback (but only really for bigger families) there is only 1 bathroom, this is clearly stated in the description. To me both are very minor and we made things work. I would add, if you have kids younger than maybe 4, the stairs to the dock could be an issue. It's a steep area...going down is no problem, but if you have to carry a toddler back up, that could be tough. I thought I was in relatively good shape, clearly I need more physical conditioning. :P
