“This is more an rbn’b than a hotel. There is no reception desk which made it a bit challenging. The area is not so appealing, but everything else was a great experience. The apartment was fully equipped for cooking if you so desired. There is no shop or restaurant in the immediate vicinity.”

“We had an incredible stay at Habitation Cafeiere Samana Beausejour. Didier & Etienne have created a truly magical residence and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore Basse Terre. "I particularly enjoyed the breakfast here. The ingredients were fresh and the bread was excellent. However, out of the four coffee machines in the breakfast area, two were not working, and at times as many as three were out of order. The front desk staff were generally very good and were eager to help me with matters such as bus routes, making change, and arranging taxis. What also left a strong impression on me was that the local ecology seems to be well preserved. There are a cat, chickens, seagulls, and other birds freely roaming around the hotel, and one evening I even saw a sea turtle."
