"Santa Maria is a stunning property in a beautiful & quiet location ideally situated for Orvieto. The apartment was comfortable & well equipped. The owners were most helpful & pleasant. We loved their collection of animals: 2 friendly dogs & an assortment of cats & peacocks. We also enjoyed being able to pick vegetables from the owner’s garden. The swimming pool was wonderful. A very enjoyable stay."

"This was the last of three properties we stayed at in Umbria. It was everyone's favorite. We stayed there for four nights at the end of April and easily could have stayed there for a month. The town of Todi is easily accessible. Adele and family are so hospitable and are a model of how a VRBO host should be. They were spacious, clean and well equipped with everything you could need. The property is stunningly landscaped with breathtaking panoramic views of the countryside, a beautiful pool to enjoy, and very close to town. Adele, our host, could not have been better. "This property was as advertised. My only suggestions would be to actually meet us at the site and check us in versus walking over to the office, especially for first timers to Orvieto, who are not familiar with the streets and also to consider offering options we could hire to get a ride/taxi to the property. After arriving directly from the U.S., the walk was not 8 minutes. We had luggage and it was up hill almost the entire way and on cobblestone. That said, the unit worked well for us."

The apartment is in a great location. Also, easy to get to the tourist information office which was always open when we needed it."

"Appears to be a typical Italian apartment but the place is truly magical. Antiquity surrounds you from the inside on out. I can see why this town inspired a world renowned novel sight unseen. Narni is not to be missed and this apartment sits at it's heart."

"Das Appartement ist für 2 Personen praktisch eingerichtet. Es ist in der Küche alles verfügbar, was man benötigt. Sonnenschirm und Strandliegen sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Das Bett ist sehr gut. Der Rest der Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr ordentlich. Der See ist fussläufig zu erreichen, zum Einkaufen benötigt man ein Auto. Alles in allem ist die Wohnung für einen entspannten Urlaub am See zu empfehlen. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass es kein Wi-Fi gibt."

"As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather. Chef cooked two yummy dinners for us. Also glad we ordered villa owner’s olive oil and red wine. Short drive to major Umbrian sights. However, we recommend you go for lunch in nearby...
