"We absolutely loved our stay! I originally only reserved the hotel for one night, but after arriving I added another night to our stay. The staff (Taylor and Bella) were very accommodating with allowing us to stay in the same room. The following day, we decided to add yet another night and once again, the staff was great! The hotel was very clean and well laid out. I liked that we could access the hotel through the parking garage from the beach so we could get to our room without having to trek through the lobby. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the AC worked perfectly as we like it very cold and dark at night. It was quiet and we didn’t have any issues with noise during our stay. The gift shop was nice for souvenirs and items you may have forgotten to pack. The hotel provides complimentary boxed water and an electrolyte infused water filling station if you bring your own cup. The Windrose Restaurant was EXCELLENT! The staff (Erika and Ri) were personable and the food was 10/10. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner during our entire 3 night stay and every meal was delicious! My son is picky and he loved it all! The last 2 nights we called in the order and brought it up to the room. Room service is offered, but it was easy to run down to get it. Beach chair service was offered and we were there on 3/2 which is off season so I was happy about that. We honestly didn’t have any issues and would highly recommend it. We will definitely stay again! "

"My main complaint was no air conditioning in the lobby and it was very hot and stuffy. There were many people waiting for a room. We all waited in a very uncomfortable lobby area where they were repainting so we had those fumes to deal with too. Cruise ships disembark early in the morning and there were many cruise passengers waiting. The hotel did not check anyone in until 3:00pm. I went upstairs and the maid told me that many rooms were ready much earlier. Why can’t they check in one party at a time as the rooms are cleaned? Especially knowing that their lobby is unbearable. When I was finally given a room, we went upstairs only to find that the room was not ready. On top of that the toilet was not flushing. For the most part, the staff was friendly. The property is old and run down so you get what you pay for. Final complaint, although the airport is only 10 minutes away, the shuttle only leaves once an hour, on the 40 minute mark. Our shuttle driver drove so fast, he sped through 2 yellow lights and hit 2 curbs at a high speed when turning right. Scary ride."
