“Just returned from a 7 night stay at Savoy view apartment The accommodation was excellent, everything needed for the stay was provided and the rooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We arrived early after a 6 hour drive and expected we’d have to wait around a few hours until check in but we were surprised to notice that the key had been made available a lot earlier which was lovely. The property is in an ideal location for exploring the beaches and coves on the Lizard peninsula....

“A clean and well-appointed cottage in lovely estate gardens. However the VRBO listing is wrong- there is no ensuite for the twin bedroom and certainly not three bathrooms. This was very disappointing.”

“A lovely lodge in a great location. The wine, biscuits and milk welcome pack is a very nice touch. It is very comfortable and well equipped, although the shower door was difficult to use. It is in a very quiet and peaceful setting but within an easy drive of either Penzance or St Ives for those shopping essentials or going to the beach.”

“Expensive but excellent location on a quiet lane in the center of old St. Ives. Parking spot includef, but beware that it is a considerable distance away near the top of a steep hill on Bishop St. Not a problem, just need to allow time for that. Dropping off luggage and picking up again at the end is possible (recommended) by driving directly to the front door. Tight lanes and roads double as pedestrian walkways in the center. The unit itself was excellent and exceeded expectations. Quiet...

“Walkable distance to the centre of Falmouth. Loads of free parking when we went. One occasion. we parked on the road a little up hill (2 minutes walk). Its a lovely cottage, I hadn't considered the Victorian steep steps up to the first floor (regarding my 80+ YO mum), but equally might be testing if one had little kids. Other than that, we loved it cheers.”
