“Staff were all courteous and Hotel is really nice. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and the food was amazing. Prices very reasonable. My only negative was the size of our double room! It was really only big enough for a single bed and we were very cramped. Bathroom was lovely though.”

“No hot water the first night, though they mover us to another room the second one (much smaller). Excellent breakfast, and really kind staff.”

“The Barns Hotel is a great place to stay. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and there is free parking. The restaurant served reasonably priced food and the breakfast was lovely. The manager kept the bar open until we had all returned from a local festival. We would stay here again in the future 😁 ”

“The rooms were very inexpensive. They were very small. But clean and the beds were a lot more comfortable than most of the beds I’m finding in the UK. The bathrooms and kitchen were meticulously clean and organized. The kitchen had and oven, stove, microwave, coffee makers and every utensil, pot, pan, or sheet I’d need to cook. The only down side is there’s no plates, bowls to put my food in. I had to eat the food out of the pans I cooked them in. And the can opener doesn’t work. But those are...

“The staff were very welcoming & friendly. The lady at reception saved me a trip to Aldi when I realised I had forgotten my toothbrush by given me a complimentary one. The only downside was the lift was out of order and my room was on the top floor. Luckily, I only had a small suitcase to carry up the 49 winding steps.”
