“Location was wonderfully private and beautiful. Having an outhouse and shower were comfortable and easy to use. The interior of the yurt was quite beautiful. I'm guessing that it is probably easier to keep a yurt warm in the winter than it is to keep one cool in the summer. Of course one can't control the weather, but was unfortunate our first day was during a heat wave and required the use of 4 fans that the host very kindly provided. “We came in the off season and the place was empty. We were the only guests the entire weekend. The bar and restaurant were not open and there was no staff on site. As such there was no continental breakfast as listed. It was quiet at night and heard birds singing in the morning which was nice. The room was relatively comfortable and warm but there was a good amount of dust under the furniture. The bed was thin but firm and comfortable but there were only two thin pillows for two guests. “what a beautiful and special place! Theres a fantastic pool for kids/family overlooking the beautiful lake. I wish we were able to stay longer. It was really one of the most beautiful places I have stayed. The Cabin lodging, the rooms, the bathrooms, everything was just great! Check out is at 10am, I wish it was maybe till noon for what you pay for but I understand because the cabins need to be cleaned. It was great!”
