"Koloa landing is a 5 star resort. The grounds are beautiful. The pools are amazing and relaxing . We had so many options with the pools , soccer , putting golf , yoga , smores night, 24/7 gym , restaurant on site and so much more. The staff was professional and they came by a daily to clean the room . The view of the pool was a perfect location. The location is in walking distance to stores and restaurants and the beach. Tne room had a fully stocked Kitchen which helped with us grabbing some groceries for the week . Just an overall great family trip . It’s the second time we stayed there and we are looking forward to our next trip to Kauai and staying there a again. "

"Really a great place to stay. We got a small suite with a kitchen which was quite convenient when vacationing in Kauai. Had a fridge/dishwasher/washer/dryer so we could fly home with clean and dry clothes (no stinky wet bathing suit in a plastic bag). 2 decent restaurants on site, and many food options near by in old Koloa town. Bed was OK, shower was great and the toiletries were of good quality. 2 pools on site, right on the beach which is good for swimming. Very happy with our stay. "

"This is a wonderful gem! I booked this late and didn't have many choices, but when I go to Kauai again, I won't want to stay anywhere else. This hotel is not fancy, but it's lovely, modern, and clean with all you need - responsive and friendly staff, pool, access to beach, lawn games, fire pits, a great restaurant and bar, and nightly live music. Close enough to walk to some shopping. The vibe at this hotel couldn't be better - I was with a friend, but it's terrific for families. The only small drawback is that the surf on the adjacent beach is very rough and very rocky, so if you're planning to spend a lot of time in the ocean, this is a consideration, especially for kids. Other than that, Kauai Shores Hotel is perfection in my mind. "

"We loved everything about the stay except the room would get no cooler than 75 degrees and it felt warmer than that at night. We would sweat in bed and had a hard time sleeping. The property is beautiful and the rooms are adequate. Of course everything is way over priced but that’s to be expected. "

"I can not say enough positives about this resort! We did opt for ocean front and were very impressed! We couldn't have asked for a better room! The resort was quiet, had lots of things to keep you busy (yard games, pool, fire pits, etc.). The room was clean, had plenty of room, and the set up was great. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and very helpful. We will come again and stay at this Sheraton! "
