“The description is accurate. It’s a very spacious, clean space that overlooks a cute little frog pond. I appreciated the earplugs the host left for those were bothered by the frogs at night, but they actually were quite lovely to hear. This is not a beachfront property, but if you’re just looking for a nice clean homebase, nice kitchen and comfortable living and dining areas, this is perfect.”

“We really enjoyed staying in this cute little studio. Absolutely loved the patio where we sat every morning drinking coffee and watching the surf, birds, and people jogging or walking by. Loved walking up to the local market for supplies. The pool was great and we could walk to the beach to snorkel and see all the beautiful fish or watch the surfers. Location was great too as we traveled in both directions around the island for hiking, kayaking, and shopping.”

“This little house was well designed, new, clean, and had every amenity that you would need for your stay. Location was great! "Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
