Earplugs or melatonin required! We stayed in the royal suite with the balcony - huge room with a lovely bathroom. The hotel is in an excellent location, only a short walk from Bourbon and Frenchman Street as well as other activities in the French Quarter. We ate a restaurant recommended by the hotel, which is on a corner a couple of blocks down (forgotten the name but there’s vouchers for free apps or desert in the hotel reception) - delicious meal and cocktails. It’s a traditional hotel with old windows which is the experience my partner and I were after, but it did mean we had disrupted nights sleep due to the noisiness of the area. Lots of people driving loud motorcycles and music playing in the early hours but nothing a good set of earplugs wouldn’t solve. Overall a great stay at a reasonable price.
