“Staying at the Maples was such a great and pleasant experience! It was really comfortable for 2 couples and extremely clean. Karen has put a lot of work in detailing every bit of info you might need as well as clearly marking everything in the house to make the stay extremely comfortable. It’s a great secluded house that worked wonders for our ski trip to Whiteface just 15 minutes away. We highly recommend considering The Maples as your next winter destination!”

“This is a really nice lakeside cottege. My family had an excellent stay. The location is really great but I would note that Lakeshore Drive can get quite busy - backing out of the driveway required patience at times. Great views of the lake. Mallets Bay is HEAVILY populated with moorings and marinas so this is not a secluded corner of the lake in summertime, it is busy and bustling. The place is well furnished and well equiped. “We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. ”
