We loved the pub was downstairs and served such great food and drinks! It was nice to walk upstairs and not have to worry about driving. Free parking was nice. Breakfast was just cereal, cold croissant, and a banana but at least it was free. The room was cute but the ceiling was pretty low. My boyfriend had to duck a lot and couldn’t stand in the shower but he is 6’6”. The bath tube was really nice and relaxing! Staff was great as well and helpful! The room was slightly slanted but it served it purpose which a place to sleep. We did find a door in our room that we couldn’t lock which led to a weird hallway. The room was beautiful, in great condition, and had everything I could possibly need. The staff were very helpful and made me feel welcome. Lots of history and great atmosphere. Not very eco to have lots of little disposable toiletries and whilst the breakfast in the basket was a good idea, some of the products could have been more imaginative.
