I made the mistake of purchasing the stay through trip advisor, had I been at hotel desk and seen/smelled the room, I would have requested my money back. The lobby leads one to believe that this is a nice hotel, it isn’t. My room was upstairs, no elevator, so carry your bags up, stairwell smelled like an electrical fire, no idea what that was from, and you need a room key to access stairwell, which starts up from inside entrance foyer, so that didn’t give me a good feeling as regards my car in parking lot. The 1970’s era couch smelled so bad from disinfectant I now know what “cloying” means, smell lingered in my mouth and throat, tub was so filthy I wished I had shower shoes, the A/C unit worked, but failed to cool the room when set on cold all night. The bathrooms have dispensers instead of bottles of soap and shampoo, great idea when they work, one didn’t. Found TV remote didn’t work when I got to room, nor had they given me WiFi password, called front desk, no answer, left message, never heard back. Pretty much a theme there, when I checked in, I asked about coffee in morning, was told I had coffee maker in room, but no, I did not. No customer service here, didn’t even give me a room receipt and wouldn’t assign points for the stay. Red Roof used to be a go to for me when traveling, now I don’t dare make a reservation without seeing the place first, this place is giving the franchise a really bad name.
