9.4/10 Exceptional! (1,001 reviews)
It’s a cute boutique hotel, tastefully furnished, good staff.
However it is a 3 star at a 4* price (I’ve been to many 4 and 5 star hotels in Hawaii), it is tiny and there are no amenities: single restaurant, no outdoor breakfast, no pool staff helping with loungers and umbrellas, no beach service, no bikes, only valet parking (a hassle when you’re in Hawaii and need to take the car 4 times a day, a hassle having to manage a stash of 10$ bills to tip the valets).
When you look at it from the boardwalk, it doesn’t look any different than the adjacent 3* Marriott, other than the price.
