“Perfect place for a getaway. We were warmly welcomed by the host who straight away recommended places to go for dinner. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the countryside. We had a full English cooked for us which was spot on as we departed to climb scafell. We definitely would stay at this hotel again when we next visit the lakes ”

“The staff could not have been more helpful. Hotel is in a beautiful place, just moments from the shoreline. The room was lovely and quirky and the breakfast was one of the best we have had on our travels. Thank you.”

“Lovely place to stay, beautiful countryside. Francesca and Pete made us feel extremely welcome as soon as we arrived. Nothing we asked for was too much for them to sort out. The room was amazing, clean and spacious - everything that we needed was there and more, great night sleep - bed was really comfortable. The bar area was amazing. Breakfast - there was everything that you could as for. Only thing we wished we would have done is booked for two nights not just the one. We will be definitely……
