Clean and quiet

The room was wonderful. This could have been a great place to stay. Except that my room key wasn't programmed properly and at midnight it became unprogrammed. I just happened to take my little dog out for a late night peepee and got locked out of my room. With no one onsight I was lucky enough to find a hotel phone and began calling the afterhours number. I finally got someone to answer the call at 2am and was finally able to get back into my room at around 230am. What a nightmare. Stuck out while the mosquitoes made a snack out of me hot and miserably. I woke up late and was told to be out by noon. Thank goodness I got a call from the office and told I could stay another night in the room and afford a 10% discount on my second night. 10% is a insult after being locked out of my room for almost 3 hours. I don't think I ever got an apology from the staff for what I had gone through. I guess 10% off a night I wouldn't have stayed except the Night before I got very little sleep because my key was programmed to shut off at midnight and not 12 noon the next day. I was told at registration that If I stayed a extra night I would need to have my key reprogrammed at noon to work. So they messed up and programmed it wrong. And Gabe me 10% after being locked out half the night. Bad Bad time other than that the place was nice.

Ive never had to put down a $60 cash deposit before getting the room key. This was after I had paid for the room. I could hear every car that drove by the motel during the night, making difficult to sleep. Not a good experience!
