“I've never had very good experiences with this hotel brand. Always a financial issue. The hotel was nothing to write home about and the location was strange and in need of some desperate road repair - potholes all along the path to the parking lot.”

Next to a diner (so-so, but ok in a pinch and if you’re not in a hurry).”

“The shower head in room 4 barely spit out any water. The kitchen was closed which defeated the point of it being a bed and breakfast experience. The pool was also not working due to some pump issue which I was unaware of until I arrived. I was under the impression that there was a fully functioning, kitchen and fully working pool. when we got there, we waited about 20 minutes until somebody finally came to check us in after I had to go looking for help.”

“This is the vintage-looking quaint motel you pass at the edge of a town on the two lane and think, "Wonder what that place is like?" Most of the time those businesses are on the downside of their existence and not that appealing. The Fairbridge Inn is different. Neat, clean, quiet and well kept with a comfortable bed and room.. “Good affordable motel. Plenty of parking. Spacious room. A/C worked fine. Everything that’s necessary is available. No coffee machine in the room but you can get coffee (not the best quality though) and hot water at the motel office nearby. One minor issue: GPS leads you to the back of the hotel. Would be good to emphasize that the turn to China Buffet should be taken (maybe I missed it somewhere in the description).”

“Graham and Krista have put together a fabulous chic modern hotel that was a pleasure to stay at for our weekend getaway to Lake Wallenpaupack. The Lakelyn Lodge in Lakeville PA is a newly renovated hotel with a fabulous eye to detail and with great finishing touches. We were extremely pleased with the attention to our needs and the attentiveness of the owners. It was a top notch experience from start to finish. We highly recommend the Lakelyn Lodge and look forward to staying here again!”

“We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was gourmet! Homemade waffles, bacon, a poached pear, arugula salad with kiwi and blueberries and homemade cinnamon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream! Decadent to say the least.
