The Red Lion in Pendleton Oregon is conveniently located. It has beautiful views from the lobby and the restaurant and possibly some of the rooms. The room we stayed in overlooked parking and a side street. The lobby has been refurbished and shows nicely. Our room on the other hand was very tired looking. The furnishings in the room are dated. The bathroom did not smell fresh and clean, it smelled of urine. The lobby area that lead to the restaurant had several buckets catching rainwater since it had rained overnight. There is a large parking lot. The restaurant appears to only serve a buffet breakfast. It was a short 1 night stay, if longer we would have asked for a different room. There is so much potential for this property but it needs a makeover!

The room was quite clean but the outside carpeting was tattered.
