"It worked well for being by the river and the opportunity for walking and being outside after a long day of driving. Room was clean and comfortable, but my neighbors were super noisy. There's a lot of empty space in eastern Oregon. Boardman was a pleasant place to take a break. It's a tiny town and not near any of the bridges iver the Columbia but it felt safer than other communities we drove through on the way.

We were passing through, but given more time we would eat at the cute pizza place within walking distance, and spend more time walking on the shoreline.
