“This is a great place to stay instead of a motel (more character !) or camping (more comfortable!). We were in the bungalow/studio - the one with a private en-suite bathroom which was super handy to have plus a kitchen of our own. The unit is nicely decorated. It is right off Highway 6 so do not expect some 'off the beaten path' spot. The place itself is nice. There is an old trailer out back that makes that part look a bit junky but that part is not on rent ! Kitchen has the basic items -……
“Great location with coffee, drugstore, gas station, and green space for the pooch all within a couple of hundred or so yards. We had a walk out for our dog and we’re only charged a reasonable 20 bucks to have him there.”
“I was hoping that despite some of the other negative reviews, that we would have had a better experience. But unfortunately the motel is dangerous, unclean, smelly and the owners charged us a $200 security deposit and kept this without reason. They processed the "hold" as a transaction and not as a hold. I was told for weeks to be patient, that the transaction was voided and we would be refunded. But alas two months later, I'm out the $200 deposit+ the room fee. Paying more than $100/ night for……
