Downtown Hickory Lounge

We live in downtown hickory. You will have your own private space located in the back of our home. It is a studio with a kitchenette. No stove/oven and only a beverage fridge. Adjoining your studio is an un air conditioned game room with pool table/ping pong and workout equipment. We have an outdoor shared space with a grill and fireplace.
We also have a super cute golden doodle named Louis, who might be inside the fenced area. Please keep all fence gates locked.

Perfect Retreat
We were in town for a wedding, and we found this beautifully decorated studio apartment in historic downtown Hickory. It was the perfect little get away and very clean! We also got to use the pool table room and the private pool area. Everything we needed was right there and we could walk to restaurants and shopping! 😃

High design little studio
The studio is well-sized. Created from a garage, it is now a stunning pool house. The design is trendy and cool. It had everything we needed, plus extra thoughts from the owner, like little add-ons like suntan lotion for the pool. It is quietly placed behind a grand home in downtown Hickory. If you are in good shape, you can walk to downtown. A short car ride led us to some great restaurants, and just outside of town is Lake Hickory. The owner was very responsive. One little hiccup I had was the use of feathered pillows; I am highly allergic and should have realized right away. BYOP if you cannot use feathered pillows.

Beautiful property in the heart of downtown Secluded and quiet, the bed was amazing. Extremely clean and they have a huge under counter ice maker if you’re a cold drink fanatic like me. I would love to stay here again if we return.

We were in town assisting a loved one at Frye Regional and we could not have chosen a better lodging. The inn is located a short distance from the hospital and the accommodations were just what we needed. The inn was exactly as described (and very, very clean)…but was MUCH more than what was described regarding the attentiveness of the host. Our host responded almost immediately to every changing request that we had (we needed to keep adding days to our stay). She was sensitive to our situation and not only added days, but made sure that we didn’t have have to change rooms during those days. We stayed in a 2-bedroom on the first floor that had one dark and quiet bedroom that enabled us to sleep especially well. The inn is also located close to many restaurant options. We can highly recommend!

From the ease of locale to shops and dining to the friendliness of the owners it is a must stay. Did not have any “vacation anxiety” as the neighborhood is historic and peaceful. The garden and birds made you feel like you were at a cottage far from a city. Would go again for sure.

Lovely place, fabulous location
The studio is wonderfully decorated and feels like a slice of Miami Beach! The weather cooperated early in our stay, allowing me to sit by the pool, a beautiful and comfortable patio space with both sunny and shady areas and water features that add to the relaxation equation. Maybe a 15 minute walk to restaurants, shops, bars in the downtown Hickory area. Would stay again for sure!

Cozy Suite - Garage Conversion
Stayed here for a trip to Rock Barn Spa about 30 minutes away. Wanted a place close to downtown Hickory area in walking distance to restaurants. Owners have converted a portion of their garage to a suite as well as a separate workout/game room which you have exclusive access to while staying with them. They also have a pool and spa that would have been awesome had the weather been nicer during our stay. They have done a great job with the conversion and the accommodations are cozy and decorated well including a comfortable mattress and kitchenette. Will stay with them again if traveling back to the area.

This place is quaint and beautiful. Check-in was so simple and communication was amazing. The location is convenient and listening to the pool spill over was so relaxing. This cute space also has the most amazingly comfortable bed! Highly recommend and will use again for guests.
