Great directions and communication prior to arrival. Once there we were greeted and promptly shown to our tent. We zipped up our tent and went to the local marketplace to grab some food to come back and find one of the 2 resident site managers dogs in our tent eating our food. A little annoying but we were out in the wild so maybe it wasn’t zipped up tight enough. Before going to bed that night I made sure to tightly zip up every possible area of the tent only to have the other site mangers dog somehow manage to get into our tent and was waking us up and our dog at 2am. Very annoying. We brought our dog and while watching her, didn’t have her on a leash. The other 2 dogs were pretty well behaved but were left unleashed and roaming the entire property, unsupervised for at least 6 hours our first night there. If supervised, the site managers dogs would’ve been fine off leash. After this went on and attempting to contact the site manager with no success, we got a hold of the owner who was able to respond with some solutions, which was to put the dogs in the office area until the owners returned. We didn’t feel the need to do that until the dog got into our tent at 2am. The next day the dogs were both leashes up in shade with food and water so I was satisfied with the overall response. I was not happy the first night though and I tied the zippers together for the remainder of the trip before leaving the site.

It was a fun experience especially for my kids. The text message we received the day before contained detailed information with the direction and a couple other helpful info for the stay. The staff at site was very helpful. It was easy to purchase the firewood on site. Newly opened beehive marketplace was an added convenience. The bedding didn’t seem to be as clean as we anticipated but it was ok considering the arrangement. Provided bedding didn’t provide enough warmth at night though so all of my family kept waking up. I think the loud noise from wind contributed some, too. But I guess that’s part of camping experience so not complaining for that. The newly built toilets and showers are located at the entrance of the camping facility so we had fo walk a little bit it was super clean and I really like that. It would’ve been even nicer if hot water was available but it was broken at the time we stayed here. Overall, we are happy we stayed here.
