“We were a family of 5 and the room was large enough for all of us including our many luggages. It was neat and tidy and the xtra large bed was very comfy. It is self check in/out. “The Sloop Inn is in a convenient location to explore the area. The bedroom was small and had too much furniture; the two chairs took up all the space left in the room to move around, open a suitcase. The only power sockets were behind the bed. “The room was decent and the bed comfortable. The issue we had was the bar had closed at 10.25pm and the bar staff wouldn’t serve us despite us having been told that it would be open until 11pm. We weren’t even allowed to add drinks to our bill and have them in our room because the barman said he’s closed all the tills. He said we could go to the local garage if we wanted to buy alcohol - not exactly what you expect when staying in a hotel.”
