We stayed for one night. Very nice and helpful staff. They let us park the car for free. They put our luggage in the car while we toured the city after check-out. We booked another night on the way back of a Euro trip.

The accommodation is close to Place Kleber, the tram line, shopping areas and key tourist areas of Strasbourg. Batorama is a great way to see and hear about the history of Grand Ile.
Only issue was the lack of space in the studio when the pull-down bed was in use. Very handy having a Momoprix close by to buy food if you don't want to eat out all the time. We didn't use the breakfast area so cannot comment.

i picked Strasbourg for a weekend getaway. Traveling alone from Stuttgart, where I'm working for a few weeks, it was the prefect choice and the Gutenberg was a big part of that. The staff is friendky and helpful, and kinder than I expected with my attempts at French (their English is great). The location is ideal - I was able to walk everywhere and the staff provided excellent recommendations for making the most of my short visit. I LOVED my under-the-roof room - which had not been available when I made my reservation and they were able to accommodate when I checked it. I liked that it added to the uniqueness and comfort of my visit. Just perfect for a woman alone! I walked to the Cathedral de Notre Dame for an 11 pm showing of an outdoor light and music projection on the walls of the Cathedral, gathering with hundreds of others who enjoyed the stunning event, despite the rain. I sat under umbrellas at cafe on Gutenberg square afterward, enjoying coffee and dessert, watching the rain and enjoying the company of other customers until well after midnight and felt at ease walking back to my rooftop home afterward. The view of the lit cathedral and rooftops was unreal. Thank you so much - can't wait to return.

Fantastic location, handy for both Strasbourg Cathdral and Petite France. Staff couldn't be friendlier and aircon was fantastic given the outdoor temperature.
Only quibbles were that the TV had a fault and that our room was serviced while we had a "do not disturb" sign on the door.

This is a well appointed, slightly wacky boutique hotel in a most impressive part of the old city. Very clean and comfortable, if small, bedroom. Staff, especially those on reception, really good; one or two in the restaurant seemed less happy in their work. Food well cooked and presented, but menu unadventurous and short. Many more pluses than minuses, I would happily recommend and return.

This was a nice hotel in an excellent location. Great staff.
The problem we had was we were assigned room 38, which is actually 2 stories high. you go up one flight of steps after opening the door to the sitting room, a day bed and a bath. you go up a second flight of steps to the bedroom.
In the summer it is very hot, and if you are older the stairs are impossible at night if you have to use the toilet.
My wife slept downstairs and I slept upstairs.
In spite of the upstairs location, there is no view from the room, so no saving grace there.
Make sure you don't wind up in this room.

After staying in multiple cramped 3 star hotels around western Germany, this was a surprisingly spacious room with better than typical privacy. The location was central to the whole old town, though parking was difficult until we happened upon a public garage. The hotel provided a parking discount that made it much more affordable. The front desk attendants were exceptionally friendly. After using my best French, they welcomingly addressed everything else in English. The evening social hour had free beer and hors d'ouvers. Great bakeries and restaurants were within easy walking distance. This was the best part of our European vacation!
