"I wish we would have had more downtime on our vacation but one of the best things was waking up and sitting on the lanai and drinking coffee in the morning and watching the waves and ocean activity. Very nicely appointed condo which had everything we needed including snorkle gear! Very happy with the condo and would definately stay here again if traveling to Kona!"

"Although a bit dated (as is all of Kona), I absolutely loved the feel of this hotel and can’t wait to come back someday. It’s well kept and clean, has great views and an awesome bar right on the water, although it’s usually crowded. Get reservations to eat. Located in the south part of Kona there are lots of great eateries and shopping. One of my favorite hotels. "

"This was our second time staying at the Kona Castle Reef . This oceanfront unit was comfortable, tidy and an excellent layout. Some of the lighting fixtures seemed dated and Could use replacement . Having the bbq’s there as an alternative cooking option was fantastic. We can’t wait to visit again next year and hopefully secure the same unit as we did this time ."
