"I attempted to extend my stay because of hurricane Isaias, but because my original reservation was made through Orbitz, I had to start all over again and the rate increased by $70+ per night. I elected to leave instead. Upon checking out, I was denied a printed copy of my receipt, also because the reservation was made through Orbitz. I use Orbitz all the time and have never encountered this before."

"What a wonderful little cabin. So private and quiet and very clean! The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub a great relaxer was n the evening. We had everything we needed and my husband really enjoyed the coffee! I wish I had booked an extra night but I’m sure we will return for another stay. As a bonus, there was a super cute little cat that we called puppy cat because she seemed to enjoy strolling through the woods with us. She was very sweet. Would have loved a bathtub but the shower was just fine and we did our soaking in the hot tub. Definitely would recommend this as a great place to stay. How “convenient” the place is depends on what you’re looking for. It’s somewhat remote but for us, that’s always the preference. If the woods scare you, this probably isn’t your place, but we absolutely loved it. The location was was perfect for is"

"There was supposed to be a pool and it was completely gone not just closed. The firepit was broken and several messages and calls to the host did no good. You can’t walk to the lake. Other than those things the place is a 5 star rating. I gave a 4 because the fire pit was never fixed and the host NEVER returned my calls or texts."
