"I had to call the hotel to arrange a very late/early check in, outside normal hours and the staff was very accommodating. We had to wake them in the middle of the night but the hotel was able to get us into our room and some much needed sleep."

Really nice guest house. The owners are prepared and ready to help. The room is clean with nice comfortable bed. Good location close to water, town center, and pub/restaurant next door. Overall a wonderful stay.

Excellent place in Holyhead. It is a little hard to get a taxi and all the bus stops were closed when we were there due to road work. Transportation was our only challenge and the host was super helpful arranging that for us.

Absolutely Phenomenal! We loved everything about this beautiful flat within a larger house. It is situated between the Holyhead Rock and the Sea. With farm lands, sheep n goats n horses. The furniture and well built home is something quite worthy and spectacular.

We were a family. It was a great place to stay for the night while waiting for the ferry to Dublin.
Fun time in the restaurant-pub on trivia night. Excellent breakfast.

This review is from an American's perspective. Our first UK/Wales trip.
This is a class operation. It is a country house, not a hotel. All rooms were different, very nicely appointed and roomy; comfortable beds. No in-room safe. I don't have any reference from other country houses. But in my opinion, five stars all the way.
Common spaces were great. Very nice conservatory, glass on all sides. Formal living room with plenty of seating. Huge, manicured grounds. This is out in the country. Quiet....

We absolutely loved our stay at The Lake View Hotel. Amy and James were wonderful hosts, the breakfast was delicious, rooms comfortable and well appointed. Easy walk to the town of Llanberis and bus stop across the street to Mt. Snowdon. The back garden is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!!

Being a lady on my own I felt safe and comfortable at the Bulkely hotel with the convenience of a restaurant and bistro within the hotel and 24 hour staff.

We loved the charm and setting of this hotel. The gardens are beautiful and sit on the banks of he Menai Straits. Each public room is wonderfully furnished with the charm of a French chateau. Our room had the best hotel shower I have ever seen with three different shower heads. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were very well done. In particular, I had a halibut baked in pastry that was a real gormet meal.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a luxury escape, or simply want your own space to unwind, find a range of stays on Expedia, from beachfront villas and stylish suites to secluded retreats with scenic views. You can choose a great stay in Holyhead with properties to suit all budgets and needs. A private pool stay adds an effortless sense of comfort, freedom, and indulgence to any trip.
Staying in a stay with a private pool in Holyhead?
Booking a stay with a private pool in Holyhead offers a far more personal and elevated experience than a standard stay pool. Instead of sharing spaces or sticking to pool opening hours, you can enjoy complete privacy, quieter surroundings, and the freedom to swim, relax, and unwind whenever you like, adding a sense of exclusivity to the trip. Whether that means morning swims with a view, peaceful afternoons in your own space, or romantic evenings away from busy resort areas, a private pool stay turns the stay itself into a memorable part of the vacation.
Where to stay in Holyhead for private pool stays
The best areas to stay in Holyhead for stays with private pools often depend on the type of trip you’re planning. Beachfront resort zones are ideal for travelers looking for luxury amenities, sea views, and easy access to restaurants, nightlife, and water activities, while quieter districts offer a more peaceful area with added privacy and scenic surroundings. In many destinations, private pool villas and suites can also be found in city-edge resorts, countryside escapes, and adults-only retreats. Choosing the right area for a private pool stay allows travelers to combine comfort, location, and experience.
Top amenities in Holyhead private pool stays
Many stays in Holyhead with private pools offer far more than just exclusive swimming access, combining luxury properties with premium resort amenities designed for a more comfortable and relaxing stay. Depending on the property, guests can enjoy spa and wellness facilities, ocean-view suites, beachfront locations, all-inclusive dining options, private villas, rooftop terraces, fitness centers, kids’ clubs and personalized services such as in-room dining. From adults-only resorts to family-friendly luxury stays, these amenities help turn a standard holiday into a more private and experience-driven getaway.
Best stay types in Holyhead with private pools
The best accommodation types for Holyhead stays with private pools vary depending on the travel style and experience you’re looking for.
Villas with private pools are especially popular with couples and families thanks to their extra space, privacy, and luxury feel, often including outdoor lounges, multiple bedrooms, and secluded settings.
Beach resorts with private pool suites are ideal for travelers who want full resort amenities and are looking for that 5-star experience with facilities including spas, restaurants and all-inclusive options while still enjoying their own pool area.
Condos and apartment-style stays are a popular choice for families and longer holidays, offering more flexibility, kitchen facilities, and a balance between comfort and value.
Best time to book a private pool stay in Holyhead
The best time to stay in an accommodation in Holyhead with a private pool usually depends on the weather, travel season, and the type of experience you want. Peak travel months are often ideal for warm temperatures, sunny days, and making the most of outdoor spaces, while shoulder seasons can offer fewer tourists and sometimes better stay rates. Families may prefer school holiday seasons when resorts offer more activities and family-friendly amenities, while couples could take advantage of quieter periods for a peaceful stay.
Tips to save on Holyhead private pool stays
Book early for the best private pool availability. Booking a stay in Holyhead with a private pool well in advance helps you secure the best room types and rates, especially during peak travel seasons when demand is highest and availability is limited.
Travel during shoulder seasons for better value. Choosing shoulder season dates can offer more competitive pricing, fewer crowds, and better opportunities to enjoy private pool upgrades, all while still experiencing great weather and full access to local attractions.
Bundle flights and stays for extra savings. Package deals that combine flights and stays can often reduce overall trip costs while simplifying planning. This can be a practical way to get better value for a luxury stay in Holyhead.
Choose stays with included amenities to reduce extras. Look for all-inclusive resorts or properties that include amenities such as breakfast, airport transfers, or spa access. These inclusions can help reduce additional travel expenses and make budgeting your stay more straightforward.
