“We were celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday with her friends and she is hitting the Appalachian Trail next year so she wanted to attend Trail Days. This cabin was a perfect place for both celebrating and getting much needed rest after a long day. My only suggestion is that you upgrade your pics because they do not do the cabin’s beauty justice. ”

“If we hadn't arrived by car, we would have thought it was 1775. Well, there is electricity and running water and a washer and dryer. OK. Maybe 1775 is a stretch, but you get the idea. The Edmonson Lodge is a gem. We stayed 2 nights for a father/daughter trip to the Virginia Creeper Trail, which is only 20 minutes away. There are plenty of beds and enough room. It's clean and has modern conveniences, except WiFi. We liked that we spent more time chatting and playing cards than watching……
