"This property was exactly as listed. It was very comfortable and cozy. Everything was super clean. The owner was also available if needed. The location was very good, and there was a cafe which served breakfast and lunch with a very welcoming staff. We would definitely stay here again if in the area."

"Nice sized lodge for family gathering. Plenty of room, great sitting area on front porch. Nicely planted flower beds around lodge, attracted hummingbirds and butterflies. Only the most basic amenities provided. I definitely would recommend using a 4-wheel drive to access the property. Any vehicle low to the ground could bottom out."

"You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. The clawfoot tub and fire stove make it especially relaxing."

"My daughter and I stayed for three nights while we hiked parts of the Appalachian Trail. Typically we leave early in the morning to start but it was so beautiful we took our time to just take it all in from the front porch. So wonderful! The location was further than others for what we wanted to do but it was well worth it. Didn't want to leave. House was great"

"This cabin was a clean,spacious, family friendly located in a quite subdivision. My elderly parent found the single level layout easy navigate. Plenty of outdoor activities close to explore and the lake was prestine. Lots of shopping close. We very much enjoyed the lighting bugs display right after sundown. "What an adorable cottage! Sure, the floors were not level….but the beds were great. The bathrooms had been updated. There was a terrific sunroom….and the property was gorgeous. We had two dog with us and they loved the space to run and catch a frisbee. The house was equipped with so many amenities. I would definitely visit again. We spent one day hiking at Grayson Highlands State Park in VA and another day we did an urban walk through West Jefferson, NC"

"Just right for my wife and I as we used this as a base to explore the surrounding areas. It was refreshing to find an actual queen sized bed as it was advertised. "It was very quiet and peaceful at night and during the day as well. It was nice to have a dishwasher in a cabin. We drove to Grayson Highlands and hiked 2 different days.
