Aqua Oasis is a great property and the staff make it wonderful. The service was top notch. It is half a block from luxury row. Easy walk to Waikiki and great restaurants. The pool is refreshing when you don’t want to go to the ocean. Beds are comfy. Continental breakfast is ok. I was happy with the muffin, bagel, cereal, and fruit options, but my husband wanted protein with an egg option or sausage (or spam!) The rooms were nice, only improvements would be more storage for clothing And the balcony needs to be sandblasted/cleaned, but we still sat out there often. Overall, we loved Aqua Oasis and would definitely stay there again!

We stayed in room #700, next to an elevator, it was very noisy, above the room sounded like a construction zone, the elevator motor sounded like jackhammer, the bathroom smells like sewer, the carpet has musty smells, outdated furnitures, the lanai door won't lock, dangerous if you have kids. Asked to be moved but they don't have any available room, we asked for earplugged and they said ok, we waited for 30mins. but nothing was delivered, called again and they said, they still looking but end up nothing. So for the whole night was very uncomfortable, staff are not helpful, they don't even try hard enough to help. Their free breakfast is a scam, very very very limited continental breakfast, no place to seat down, so we end up going to a restaurant. We suppose to stay for 4 nights but we checked out after 1 night. We rather pay $400 a night to stay in a nice and comfortable hotel than stay here $300 a night. Not recommended.

My 9-day stay in the hotel went well. I chose this hotel due to it being budget friendly, walkable to Waikiki beach, and nearby shops/restaurants. I also chose it because of the available coin laundry and parking availability, though it's only valet and there's a daily fee. It's a very simple hotel with a lovely and kind staff who were very helpful. They had beach towels and beach chairs that were available to use and take to the beach. My only complaint is the bar that is on the same block and people leaving that bar can get LOUD in the middle of the night. I woke up 3-4 times in the middle of the night due to yelling, fighting, or just very drunk people on the streets. This is with my balcony sliding door closed, though I was facing the front of the hotel and street. All in all it was a nice budget friendly stay with a lovely staff.

It was nice to have a balcony. The room was outdated but clean. Recommend getting a room deodorizer - there was an odor in the room. If you don’t bring it up to management right away they will accuse you of vaping and will warn you that police can be called. The hallway to the room also has a smell. Before using the dishes I recommend washing it yourself. The coffee pot wasn’t clean and the dishes needed to be washed. The tub is very outdated and awkward. Don’t recommend for people who are short. The price was alright for the area. If you’re needing a place to sleep it’s okay. FYI parking is very expensive if you don’t mind walking there are cheaper options. I bought up the issues I had to management, my mistake was not notifying them at the time the issues came up. I took it upon myself to buy air freshener, wash the dirty dishes, locate inexpensive parking. We were a party of 5 and it was a week stay and we wanted to get started on our vacation. Again management is aware of the odors and will not acknowledge it. Previous reviews has stated the same.

I stayed in room 810 and it was great. Large room with 2 double beds & large bathroom. The balcony was really big compared to others I’ve stayed at. The bathroom was a bit dated but clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We only went down for breakfast once as it was rather crowded and people were too pushy for me grabbing at the food. Location was great with an ABC just down the road & restaurants close by. The Koi pond was a great surprise.
