Great property, free breakfast is very convenient and had a lot of different options. For us the best oart was the staff, they all were very friendly and helpful, specially our housekeeper Gina, she was the true meaning of Aloha, we will definitely stay here again!

This place is not a good place to recommend. All through out my stay it gives me stress. My family and I stayed in this place for 7 days and 6 nights and was not able to get a vallet parking at all. I rented a car to think that there is available parking for us who were checked inn in that hotel but every single day there is no available parking. Staff keep on telling come back at 10am and if I come back at 10am they said come back @ 2pm and thats what eve been doing for 2 day’s I was not able to use my rented car and go outside Waikiki because we are waiting and hoping for the availability of the parking but nothing! Every single day, every time we are going out I am so stressful of the parking slot. Every single night we are spending hours and hours rooming around just to find a parking. Instead of spending time looking around for parking we should used that time to enjoying the area. I won’t come back to this hotel ever again.

The staff at the desk smiles and greets well. But they never have any response beyond what seems to be a set of script; not very helpful for those who are truly visitors and especially those who’ve never been to the area. A smile is all we got though, after a 16 hour day flying in from NY; no one offered to help with the luggages or anything whatsoever. The room service staff is very kind, courteous and professional. There are probably hundreds and hundreds of rooms and perhaps thousands of guests; yet you provide one, just one, microwave. Just one microwave!! Hundreds of rooms and thousands of guests and your pay for use washer and dryers don’t work well (I suppose you have to charge that tacky fee because Hyatt is a some sort of discount hotel….oh wait…Not according to the rates). Hundreds of rooms and thousands of guests to use exactly 3 washers and 3 dryers available for use, in a beach front community. We paid for a partial Mountain View room with two queen beds and a pullout sofa bed. The sliding door to the balcony would not close properly and the lock is missing. The latch and striker is there but the lock is missing and there is no seal around the side where the door is supposed to close. They have an old fashioned slip lock to keep the door locked, which is easy enough to snap off by yanking on the patio door. Furthermore, it leaves a gap on the entire left vertical frame to let warm air in, cold air out and aaalll the noise from the street, and cannot sleep.

Short and easy walk to the beach; close to all the shops and eateries. Rooms are new, clean and great except it would be better if there was a microwave in the room instead of going downstairs to the single shared microwave available in the lobby. The microwave in the lobby heats up super slow - it does not warm up the food unless you run at least 5 minutes per plate. Elevators are super slow, we had to take the stairs going up to 10th floor several times due to long waits. Breakfast buffet food is same and boring - wish they'd change out regularly; I wouldn't look forward to the breakfast buffet. Overall, for around $500/night with taxes and expenses, it is quite expensive - they could at least provide a microwave in each room.

Nice location. The rooms were modern and clean. The pool was a small rectangle with only 6 or 8 chairs. That was a let down. Overall it was someplace safe to stay. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Loved the valet parking that was reserved for us each day. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning with a main dish variety and staples you could count on. Appreciated the refillable water bottles & filling station. Very small pool for the size of hotel. Walkable to the beach as well as many sights: zoo, aquarium, international market, bud stop, many shops. Food trucks right next door as well as a trolley & shuttle stop less than 1 block. Great location.

Your going to waste a lot of time trying to find parking as there valet parking is booked everyday and not the most helpful trying to indicate other locations nearby. We were there several days and it was like we went hunting for a parking spot every night. Felt valet parking should be readily available….we’re willing to pay for it for the convenience.
