The hotel staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Our room had a beautiful canal view. Walking distance to restaurants, museums. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

I will only stay at this hotel in Amsterdam. The location is ideal - quieter street but walkable to everything. The amenities are everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The staff is out of this world - energetic, professional and helpful.

All the rooms are different which makes them interesting. Comfortables beds, though pillows could be softer. Free bottle of champagne in suite was nice surprise. Loved the tea and pressed coffee set up in room for mornings or chilly afternoons. A steamer in the closet is better than ironing board. Hotel Estherea is a beautiful place, with a fabulous location, great staff, clean, breakfast is great and the cookies,flavored waters and coffee machine are over the top. There are fresh flowers, gorgeous chandeliers and very comfortable sitting areas. It was a real treat and I would go back in a minute.

I have stayed in several different hotels in Amsterdam. This is the best hotel for the average person -- noting I am sure there are some nicer hotels that would cost $400 a night. This hotel is perfectly located between the Museum Quarter, the old section, next to Rembrandt Square, very close to the mile long walking mall, near other great shopping streets. We had an amazing experience at the hotel. Absolutely gorgeous and the staff was all very very helpful and friendly. The absolute only thing I didn't love was the room being in a different building from the main hotel. The lounge was breathtaking and all the bartenders were excellent and very sociable.

Exceptionally nice property. Great staff, nice rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet was pricey, but it did deliver on quality and variety. And of course a fantastic location and the place is quiet, which we liked.

My husband and I recently stayed 3 nights at this hotel and could not have loved it more. The location is perfect for walking and exploring all different parts of the city. Dam Square, The Red Light District, The Anne Frank house, The Heineken Experience, and The Rijksmuseum area were all within walking distance; some closer than others. Top notch in all areas of a stay in Amsterdam. Had a corner room with glass on both walls. Just a great feel and elegance to stay. Would have given 6 stars if an option. Can walk to Musueum district. Loads of bike paths. Breakfast buffet quality is a whole new level. Like being between airport and city center.

Really the perfect hotel for the museum tour, in easy walking distance to all of them. The canal is lovely and quiet, tons of busy restaurants in a 4-5 block radius, lively night-life, friendly, busy, fun. Lobby recently renovated and very enjoyable with a view of the canal -- the breakfast service is superlative. What's not to love? If you stay, book a panoramic room, you won't be disappointed.

The hotel is walkable to a number of the places we were visiting. I liked that it wasn’t in the city center but only 10 minutes from the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable.
