“The hotel and pub were very pleasant. The rooms were well-equipped and the food was excellent. However, the service at the pub was inconsistent. While some tables were served, we were not and this was unclear. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. However, the room temperature was excessively high. We were forced to leave the room to cool down despite the outside temperature being over 35°C. The room was significantly hotter than the outside. Although fans were provided,……

The rooms are lovely, comfortable and very clean and the extra touches (tea/coffee facilities and cold milk in the fridge) are thoughtful and very appreciated. The breakfast is delicious and very thoughtful. I thought £7 for 2 slices of sourdough bread and £5 for a bottle of water to take to my room was a bit excessive!”

Our room was spotless, and the entire estate was beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We felt very secure throughout our stay. “My bijou little room was on the first floor of the inn (as opposed to some rooms they have in separate buildings). Quite a nice little room but no view and I had to climb onto the bed to open the velux window. When I opened the bathroom window I had unfortunate cooking smells from the kitchen extractor which was a few feet away, so I only opened it outside meal times. There was no information in the room so I had to wait until the morning to get the WiFi code - I think this should have been……
