While the home is conveniently located near the highway for easy access to nearby attractions, it is set back far enough to provide a peaceful setting with minimal traffic noise. Neighbors are within sight but spaced far enough apart to maintain privacy and relaxation. This three-bedroom, two-bath home is perfect for families or small groups looking to enjoy the lake and surrounding outdoor recreation. The main floor features a queen bedroom, with another queen bedroom upstairs and a third queen bedroom downstairs. The home comfortably sleeps six guests and allows up to ten guests maximum. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic cookware and everything needed for simple meal preparation during your stay. A standard drip coffee maker is provided, so feel free to bring your favorite coffee to start your mornings while enjoying the incredible lake view. Guests also receive a five-person pass to the Lake Barkley Fitness Center located nearby. This facility includes an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and a variety of exercise equipment, making it a great option for relaxation or staying active during your trip. The 2 garages are not for guests use. The kitchen is furnished with all your basic cooking needs. A regular drip style coffee maker is furnished, please bring your coffee of choice. With being on the lake there is always a chance of bugs, please understand we do everything we can to keep the outside of the house clean but sometimes it just is not possible. Great view in the mornings and evenings and so close to the lake! Just walked down to fish! Convenient to anything we forgot and if we were too tired to cook there’s a great takeaway within walking distance. Safe neighborhood for walking and we had two dogs so we walked a lot! It was perfect halfway point. This A-Frame house provided a nice cozy getaway. Parking was adequate for a number of vehicles, the house was clean, it was great being able to rent a pontoon thru the owner, who was very attentive and even told my husband we could put our paddleboards in off his boat dock and the views were spectacular at sunset. Kitchen had all the useful pieces for cooking in. House was very clean. Lake water was clean and refreshing to swim in. Views were lovely from the porch. We picked very well for a house at the lake. The house is run down and had enough cobwebs to stuff a pillow. Comfortable beds. Kitchen is well supplied with pans, plates, utensils, etc. The spiral staircase is made for Barbie feet. Even my size 5's were challenged. Our dog had to be transported up and down using the outside stairs and after a couple cocktails so did I! Place really needs a lot of small repairs. The large deck has rotten boards and no comfortable seating. Really fun having the pontoon boat but they, too, are in need of maintenance. I kinda felt sorry for the place. ##### Laura L. But, the main floor bathroom couldn't be used as a shower (we didn't ask to resolve, just dealt with it). The beds on the main floor and the basement were REALLY bad for sleeping with a couple (not a size issue though they are small for a couple, but they're just really old and bounce EXCESSIVELY continually waking up) and the furnace makes a HORRENDOUS noise all day, that if you sleep on the lower floor it'll wake you up every 10minutes, if the rickety bed doesn't. It was just a lot of money to not sleep for three days. If not for the owner being really responsive to issues, this would be lower. ##### Robert W.
