Hotchkiss Hotel Rooms at the Independent

Nice property run by nice people. Great location for the Black Canyon park! Convenient rates as well. I couldn't understand why someone would go elsewhere.

The check-in was quick. The staff friendly and professional. The room was simple, yet had all I needed. The mini refrigerator worked excellent and kept my beverages very cold and my portable ice blocks frozen. I highly recommend this motel and I plan on staying here again.

Beautiful cabin, great folks that run it, and plenty of nature to enjoy! The cabin had everything we needed and we had a very comfortable stay. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

This was an interesting property. Our reservation was for 3 cabins but only 2 were reserved. I had receipts and we got 3. The cabins were really nice. Snow made walking to the cabins treacherous. The views are beautiful. It would be great in summer. Several things on the restaurant menu were unavailable ...

We loved this house! It had plenty of room for our family, it was clean, and very beautiful. The location was close to shopping, restaurants, etc. We’ll definitely stay here again!
