Absolutely wonderful stay! We got a complimentary upgrade to a private apartment and was given a tour by reception staff upon arrival. Room was very clean. Good location close to a bus stop and several great restaurants. Staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The hotel is just a few blocks from the main train station. The room is fine and everything else was okay. The main drawbacks are that there is no elevator, which can be inconvenient with luggage, and the breakfast is quite poor.

This well presented hotel is not far from the St. James Quarter shopping centre, Princess Street and The Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. The hotel was clean and the rooms were vere large. Staff were excellent and courteous. Will definitely go back.

The staff at the Cairn hotel were kind and helpful. They stored our bags until our room was ready so we could go out and explore. They also helped us get a new room on the property for a good price when our flights were canceled without notice. They were patient and talked us through the room options they had available.
