Mrs. Carla have a wonderful hotel. Pets welcome, maintained dog walk, corn hole, horseshoes. The rooms were super clean and comfy. Great couple, great motel and the view is AMAZING!

We loved it. It was right where we wanted to be and exactly what we needed for our brief stay with our dog, Sadie while we were in the western UP for the Autumn color peak. In my hurry, I left my favorite fleece jacket hanging in the room. They made sure I got it back in tip-top condition ASAP.

I showed up at 1:10 pm. To find the place deserted. No body available and the office locked. I called the office and no answer. The pictures on line are nothing, zero like what I found the place to look like. What a dump. So I moved on and stayed elsewhere. But they sure were able to charge me 136.71 $ from where ever they were. For a room I wouldn't stay in EVER.

We have stayed at some very questionable establishments through the years but I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, this is by far the absolute worst place I have ever stayed in my entire 50 years of traveling. We arrived after Dark and when we walked into our room, all you could smell was mold and mildew and the general greasy smell of Filth. The first thing we did was check the beds for bed bugs because it looked very probably in this situation. My friend went in to use the restroom and the tiles on the floor were completely loose and there was black mold and mildew coming out from between where the grout should be, which there was none. The pictures that were posted online or of the hotel many, many years ago because it was actually taking care of at that time. There were bugs underneath the microwave when I moved it, the floor was sticky to walk on so we didn't even take our shoes off because this place was so disgusting. Had we not paid so much for this place, which was a ridiculous price, we would have left but considering where we were, we pulled our sleeping bags out of our vehicle and slept in them on top of the bed. All I could think about were bugs crawling all over me all night long, and neither of us took a shower because the shower head barely trickled and who wants to be in that disgusting bathroom in bare feet? If there was a zero rating, that's it! Fire code violations everywhere! Death trap. Avoid at all costs.
