“We really enjoyed the cabin! We had plenty of places to sleep for two families, and our kids just loved the huge property and a big swing in front. The kitchen and grill were great for cooking, and we enjoyed the hot tub and used the washer and dryer. All were excellent. I’d definitely stay again.”

“This cabin has so much character and the location is great for a quiet getaway! It had everything we needed last weekend and the owners are top notch. Couple things to note: it sleeps 14 but parking is tight with 9 cars so you’ll need to carpool and it is not ADA accessible. These were not a problem with our group but wanted to mention it in case someone else was booking and it was a concern.”

The hospitable nature of the owner is even carried in the cat, Milo — he greeted us the moment we arrived and joined us around the fire pit in the evenings. “Property is as listed. Very quiet. Plenty to do on property. Two ponds to fish in. Yard games, table games, ping pong. Hiking trails. Cabin had all the amenities and more. Kitchen had enough pots and pans to feed an army. Close to other hiking areas and other places to go. Shopping at a Walmart 15 minutes away in case you forgot anything.”

“We loved our stay in Apple Valley! This was our first time using VRBO. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! The updated interior was both beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the local artists work displayed throughout the home-such a nice touch! Plenty of extra blankets including throw blankets in the living room. Although we only stayed a weekend I miss drinking my coffee with a view of the lake. Highly recommend!”

“We stayed here with my family and my sister’s family to watch the eclipse and had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful and the owner was kind and responsive. We all enjoyed riding in the kayaks and roasting marshmallows in the large fire pit right by the dock. We loved that this home felt like it was a rural retreat, but yet it was not too far removed from civilization. Super Walmart was only 15 minutes away and neighbors were close enough but not too close. We would definitely recommend……
