As soon as you step foot in our recently remodeled 1940s bungalow, you're welcomed by a stylish yet highly comfortable living area. It is designed and decorated in a manner that compliments the tranquil, welcoming Decatur location. We look forward to hosting you.

Our home offers a nice backyard with a covered patio to enjoy your favorite beverage, outdoor eating area for those intimate meals plus a grill for those grill masters.

The fully equipped kitchen, including a mini dishwasher with space for 2-3 guests dishes, and adjacent breakfast nook are where you'll get to prepare and enjoy delicious meals with your loved ones before relaxing in the living room, setting the stage for memorable evenings. Plenty of natural light comes through the large windows, making the home very bright during the day while the comfortable modern décor allows for rest and relaxation.

We have provided our guests with an initial stock of supplies such as coffee, tea, toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags for you along with a comfortable home decked out with the amenities you won't find at a hotel! Just bring your luggage! If you need any further supplies during your stay, grocery and convenience stores are just down the road.

Once you have arrived you can:

Heath, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out. You can feel comfortable knowing that our cleaners follow the complete procedure to ensure that our units are entirely disinfected, and sanitized, adhere to coronavirus prevention procedures, wipe all doors and keypads, and keep our environment clean.

House Rules:
★ PETS ALLOWED
$50 non refundable pet fee charged at booking.
Maximum of 2 pets under 50 pounds allowed and must be over a year old.
Well trained pets only. Use of piddle pads is not accepted.
Pets must be crated if left alone. Pets are not allowed on furniture, beds, linens, throw blankets, throw pillows OR in the loft area.
No aggressive breeds allowed per our insurance. Non compliance to our pet policy will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation with no refund given.
★ NO SMOKING ★
Please refrain from smoking anywhere on the property! Any smoking evidence will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees.
★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits!
★ All guests must be on reservation. No guests not on your reservation are allowed. ★
★ Any illegal activity will be reported to the authorities. Tampering with our security cameras will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation with no refund ★
★ Severely Damaged linens will incur a charge for replacement ★

House Rules:
1. Knot Working does not allow smoking of any kind anywhere on the property. If you smoke this is not the property for you.

2. We do not allow commercial photography, events or parties.

3. Please DO NOT eat or drink in the loft areas. You may incur additional cleaning fees. Lofts are best suited for active adults and older children, require the use of steps and a low ceiling entry/exit.

4. Pet Policy:
$20 Non Refundable Pet Fee due at booking. If we don't have to use these fees for excessive cleaning, we donate them to a local animal shelter, A New Leash on Life.
• Maximum of 2 pets under 50 pounds allowed and must be over a year old.
• Well trained pets only. Use of piddle pads is not accepted.
• Pets must be crated if left alone and barking contained.
• Pets are not allowed on furniture, beds, linens, throw blankets, throw pillows OR in the loft area.
• No aggressive breeds allowed per our insurance.
• To prevent us from having to charge our guests excessive cleaning fees, PLEASE clean up after your pet this includes fur, dirt, mud, urine, vomit and feces. We have provides rags, a broom and a vacuum.
• Non compliance to our pet policy will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation with no refund given.

5. Absolutely NO cleaning or discarding of fish in or around the cabins, in our dumpster or garbage. Out of respect for our other guests, please clean your fish at the lake.

6. Under no circumstances, should you unplug the WIFI in the loft area, an alarm will sound. The door locks require the WIFI to work properly.

7. Our cleaning fee is based on a "courteous guest". If the house is damaged or neglected, in a condition beyond what a reasonable, courteous, guest, would leave the dwelling in, an additional $150 cleaning fee will be assessed.
