"We were NOT able to stay at the Phillips Inn because Travelocity screwed up the reservation. Travelocity said the res was confirmed, no need to call the property. I called day before arrival and was told they could not honor the res due to the death of the owner May 22. I made the res May 25. On June 22 Travelocity still had no idea the owner was deceased or what the property was doing. Call Travelocity Customer Service, 2 hour wait to talk to CSR. Used callback option, got call about 3 1/2...

"i got there at 230 my room wasn’t ready the housekeeper still had 4 rooms to clean and they thought i was gonna wait 315 my room still not ready they gave excuse rooms had a lot of checkouts that day and that’s why they were behind inexcusable and not my issue when you tell me 3 pm check in that room needs to be ready by 3 no lame excuses i didn’t feel it was as clean as it should be ! dog was barking off and on people were noisy walking the floor ! and way too far from rehobeth beach i tried to cancel and your attendant told me i could not i explained its an hour from where i would be she didn’t care ! so i drove an hour 4 times back and forth to get to hotel to go to ocean city and rehobeth and i am highly annoyed they wouldn’t let me out of it when expedia charged me 12.00 to give me option to cancel and i made the appt that day sat the 2nd ! will never come back there again so annoyed "
