After traveling 11 hours… I walked into the hotel was not greeted by the lady behind the counter. I greeted her, said I needed to check in and she replied there were no rooms were available. I asked did she know about how long she said 3:00. I sat in the parking lot and watched 2 different people enter the hotel with their bags and they never came back out. So we sat with our bags in the foyer. While sitting there I heard the lady answer the phone made a reservation for $148… I reserved my room for $179??? After her phone call… she said she can check me in. She said we don’t have any king beds available. My reservation was for a king bed and assumed the room I would get would have queen size beds. Asked for a discount since I was not getting what I reserved and was informed I reserved thru a 3rd party (Expedia) so there would be no discount. Considering my room cost me nothing out of pocket the discount really didnt bother me. I went to the room. Not queen beds! Maybe a double/full. Hard mattresses. Beds sound like they are falling apart! Dust piling outside the filter of the AC. Breakfast was wonderful but would have enjoyed it better if I had gotten better sleep. 2 people do not fit in those oversized twin beds. Will not be back.
