“Upon arriving already we were having issues with the staff. We don’t speak Portuguese but we were using Google Translate with them which is fine we don’t expect for the staff to speak English. However, after 2 days of traveling to get there we did request to check in a bit early (15-30 min) after being absolutely disgusting from planes, bus, and ferry rides. The woman at the check in desk literally laughed in our faces when we explained to her that we just want a shower and we were aware that……

The room we stayed has a balcony overlooking the plaza which is a perfect place to sit and watch the events at night. If I had to sum up our stay in one word I would say “wonderful”. We’re in good physical shape so we were fine with the steep walk up and down every day but this chalet is not for anyone who can’t easily walk up steep hills.
