“Upon arriving already we were having issues with the staff. We don’t speak Portuguese but we were using Google Translate with them which is fine we don’t expect for the staff to speak English. However, after 2 days of traveling to get there we did request to check in a bit early (15-30 min) after being absolutely disgusting from planes, bus, and ferry rides. “Our chalet was great, very private, beautiful view. We loved everything about this hotel including food, breakfast, pool, everyone who worked here. We’re in good physical shape so we were fine with the steep walk up and down every day but this chalet is not for anyone who can’t easily walk up steep hills. Also it’s mostly Brazilians here so better to speak Portuguese. ”
