“Turns out being in Pontevedra does not mean being in the city of Pontevedra. We were walking the Camino and had passed the place over two hours ago when we looked for it in Pontevedra and learned our mistake. Had to take a taxi there and backThen they had no lift or even a dumb waiter to get our one full sized suitcase upstairs. The lady and I together managed it. In the morning I was told I could call someone to help bring it down because the desk was un manned. The guy answering was angry……

“The rooms are in a very beautiful and very rural property several hundred meters (uphill!) from the Camino. The host is very kind and offered to drive me to a local restaurant and pick me up again after I finished. How could I refuse? The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.”
